Abilities of APEX’s Newest Legend, Newcastle, Revealed

With the start of the new season in APEX Legends next week, Respawn have finally revealed the abilities for the newest addition to the title’s line-up of characters. The new hero is called Newcastle and falls into the Defense category, with his kit focused on defending his allies.

Newcastle Abilities:

• Mobile Shield [Tactical]: Throw a controllable drone that creates a moving energy shield
• Retrieve the Wounded [Passive]: Drag downed allies as you revive and protect them with your Revive Shield
• Castle Wall [Ultimate]: Leap to an ally or target area and slam down, creating a fortified stronghold

Newcastle will become available on May 10th with the release of APEX Legends 13th season Saviors. Besides the new character, it will also feature a reworked ranked system and changes to the Storm Point map.
